These Silhouettes out of the box look phenomenal! Best priced Decoys out there and great quality as well. The flocking looks solid. I was lucky to find these guys. They are better priced than the Unflocked Divebomb V2’s. Almost a no brainer considering these Silhouettes are flocked. Plus their bags are only $35. Can’t beat the Price and quality. I look forward to ordering another 5 Dozen and seeing how they hold up throughout the seasons.
The color scheme is one of the most realistic I’ve seen. While other brands tend to look a bit gray, these actually resemble real birds—almost like a photo print on the plastic.
The decoys come in two positions (upright and feeder), which works fine, though some other brands offer more pose variety.
The steel stakes aren’t quite as heavy-duty as others I’ve used, but surprisingly, I had no trouble tapping them into frozen ground with a rubber mallet. They held up well even in below-freezing temps.
As for durability, the corrugated plastic feels on par with other brands and should last just as long.
Overall, for the price, I’m very happy with these. In fact, I’m planning to sell off some competitor decoys now that I’ve seen what SkyFly has to offer.
